How is Your State's Mental Health Care System?

The
National Alliance for Mental Illness
(NAMI), a grassroots organization that strives to improve the lives of those living with mental illness, has compiled state by state rankings of the mental health care stystems in this country.

Overall, the nation receives a distressing "D" grade, and no state receives above a "B" rating. The top performers were Connecticut, Maine, Ohio, South Carolina and Wisconsin. Meanwhile, eight states received an "F." There is no state that couldn't do things better, so check out your state, and see how you can help.
